Description

German Reichskriegsflagge, two-sided and dye-clamped, in a smaller size of approx. 67 in. x 39 in. Flag shows 3 in. x 3 in. sewn-in reinforcement patches, matching red flag material, to both top and bottom near bunting attachment, with additional reinforcing about the edges in the form of 8-rows of stitching. The hoist, with sewn-in looped rope lanyard, is marked 'Kr.Fl.100x170' to one side, with the maker mark stamped to the other side of 'Neue Aunsburger Kattunfabrik, Augsburgand'. Showing minor flaws, including three wear marks to the white hoist bunting causing small holes around the rope lanyard, and one small nip to the fly edge, flag also showing some dark staining to the bunting and down through the center of the white areas and into the fly edge. Good condition overall.
