Two Belgian proofed Snider conversion 12 gauge shotguns. A) Belgian proof on left barrel and top of breech lock. L813 stamped inside breech lock. 57F stamped on breech lock hinge. Side plate stamped star over D in a diamond behind hammer. R.M. Joills carved into left above trigger. Checkered wood stock. B) Belgian proof on left barrel and top of breech lock. Star over D stamped on left breech. Wood stock.

A) Barrel: Mottled patina with light scuffs. Bore: Light wear with extensive oxidation. Receiver: Moderate finish loss with light scuffs. Stock: Light wear. Butt plate: Mottled dark patina with light scuffs. Mechanically good. B) Barrel: Light finish loss with light scuffs. Bore: Light wear with extensive oxidation. Receiver: Moderate finish loss with light scuffs and minor pitting. Stock: Moderate wear with 5? and 2? cracks on left side and repair to right side under hammer. Butt plate: Dark patina with light oxidation. Mechanically good.
