Star sapphire: The stone displays a blue hue with medium light tone and saturation. The rays are not crisp; they appear slightly hazy under direct light. Natural inclusions include color-zoning, silk and mineral etc. Upon closer inspection at 10x magnification, a natural tiny line-shaped dent is visible on the side, and also a minor indented natural near the bottom side. However, these are not very noticeable to the naked eye. The bottom part remains unpolished, which is typical for natural cabochon sapphires. Diamonds: Approximate colour and clarity: G-H colour, SI clarity, graded whilst mounted.
