Footnotes: Design Information CONSTRUCTION AND EMBROIDERY DETAILS Corsetless sleeveless bodice in tulle, with the fitted portion of the skirt embroidered. Layers of midnight blue and black tulle are gathered and pleated to form both tiers of the skirt, with multiple layers of both colours added as underlayers to achieve the desired shape. Midnight blue velvet belt at the waist. The dress uses almost 180 metres of tulle. Embroidered by 3 specialist artisans in over 1,000 hours using a mix of 1,800 hand-cut midnight blue velvet 3D petals, over 3,000 glass bugle beads and crystals, and 1,000 ostrich feathers arranged in an all-over design radiating around the neckline.
