Hand cut and 'picot' edged silk crepe scallops are inserted into heavily embroidered board running around the neckline, sleeves edge and attachment, waistline and hem and along the centre front. The scallop edging is adorned by a very intricate gold embroidery Over 25 variations of crystals and stones were used to create this embroidery.
