Metallic floral fabric moulded on the corset base. The above the knee pencil skirt is made using an embroidered geometric lace overlaid on organza and has structures pleats at the waist. Metallic elements from the bodice are carefully hand cut and appliqued around the waist blending the bodice and the skirt. The pink thread work flowers from the fabric used on the bodice are cut and made into 3D elements appliqued around the neckline. There are black Napa leather daisies appliquéd on the bodice. Over 6,000 lace motifs are carefully hand cut and positioned to applique and create grid pattern on the skirt. The grid is further embellished using nearly 10,000 Swarovski crystals and beads and xillions a took over 350 hours to make. HOURS OF WORK It took 4 couturiers just over 250 hours for the making of the dress alone. Provenance From the Ralph & Russo Archive Original RRP Incl.
