Cast iron wall-mounted match safe featuring an ornate pierced back panel with scrolling foliate and heart-form detailing beneath a decorative crest. The rectangular body slopes forward into a small catch tray designed to hold spent matches, while the lower front edge retains a ribbed striker surface for ignition. The backplate shows raised, dimensional casting with layered scrollwork, giving the piece strong visual depth despite its compact size.

Shows surface wear including oxidation, finish loss, and areas of darkened patina throughout. Interior exhibits age-related wear consistent with use. No visible cracks or breaks to the casting. Sold as found.
