Description

A Beswick pheasant ashtray of glazed ceramic construction. The figural piece features a ring-necked pheasant perched atop a naturalistic base molded to resemble a grassy bank with a shallow central indentation. The bird is decorated in a high-gloss polychrome glaze with shades of green, rust, yellow, and purple. The underside of the base bears a circular Beswick England backstamp.
