A decorative and well-cast pair of bronze urns, in the classical Grand Tour style.
Each urn features a wide pierced rim with stylised scrollwork, raised on a fruiting vine stem and reeded socle, above a square plinth base.
Cast in solid bronze and later polished, the pair retain a good weight and attractive surface patina.
The undersides show signs of traditional casting and assembly, including solder and fixing bolts.
