A good antique set of brass fire irons comprising shovel, tongs, poker, and tool rest.
Each with turned handles and knopped shafts, showing attractive patination and a good weight in hand.
The shovel features a repoussé and pierced pan with foliate decoration.
Some distortion to the pan, as shown, but remains entirely functional and presentable.
Shovel length: 71 cm.
Condition: Surface wear and age-related tarnish throughout.
Unpolished finish.
Some deformation to the shovel pan.
