A fine quality Victorian cast brass inkwell, dating to the late 19th century.
Square base with decorative moulded borders featuring foliate scrollwork and shell motifs, supporting a domed lid with matching design and turned finial.
The hinged lid opens to reveal the original glass liner, which is present and removable.
Good weight and fine detail throughout, with pleasing signs of use and age.

Condition: In good antique condition.
Surface wear and oxidisation to the brass in keeping with age and use.
