A finely painted bone china tankard by Hammersley, dating to the mid-20th century.
Of cylindrical form with a richly gilded rococo-style handle and gilded rims, the body is hand-painted with an elaborate floral bouquet in vibrant enamels, including roses, daisies, and other garden blooms.
Signed within the design by the decorator F. Howard.
Marked to the base with the green Hammersley backstamp: "Hammersley Fine Bone China – Made in England."
Measures 14 x 10.5 x 10.5 (height) cm.
Condition: Very good throughout with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Gilding remains in good order with minimal signs of age.
