U.S. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1903 RECEIVER.

Description

S# 1273427. Complete Model 1903 Springfield action. Receiver produced in 1926. Does not have Hatcher hole. Receiver bridge is drilled on top with two scope holes and drilled on the side with two holes for receiver sight. Bolt with swept handle is marked on top "J3". Cutoff assembly is present. Smooth trigger. Milled trigger guard assembly. Milled follower has been modified to allow bolt to close when empty. Trigger guard has holes drilled through the bow and in-front of trigger for unknown purpose. Guard screws are present. CONDITION: entire barreled action turning gray with areas of original worn blue finish with spots of light oxidation. (25-3122/RW). MODERN. $100-200.
