Description

This lot contains 2 antique scales. The first is a cast iron balance beam scale with 3 original hooks and counterweight. the other is a scarce buffalo hide scale used by hunters to weigh buffalo hides. This scale is iron with a brass graduated crescent shaped scale plate. CONDITION: both scales have oxidized patinas. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Norm Greenberg Collection. (02-24843/BF).
