Description

LARGE IMPRESSIVE KPM LITHOPHANE . Depicting a scene from Shakespeare's Richard III, after the painting by German artist Theodor Hildebrandt (1804-1874), impressed KPM scepter mark, contained in its original ebonized wood frame with Gothic arch finial. The lithophane panel measuring 6 (15.2cm) inches x 7 (17.7cm) inches, overall height including frame 13.25 inches (33.6cm).
