After years of studies in order to select and best print the 50 artworks considered most representative of the Bolognese artist, it was published in 1973 in two formats: a deluxe edition, from which this print comes, in 120 copies numbered from 1 to 120; and a standard edition, in 1000 copies, numbered from 121 to 1120.The artwork is printed in photolithography on very thick hand-made cotton paper, designed and produced specifically for this edition by papermill Miliani in Fabriano. Each work is collected in another slightly thinner handmade cotton paper folder, bearing the artist's signature "Morandi" in watermark, especially made by papermill Enrico Magnani in Pescia.The date of completion of the artwork is October 1973, and the specific number of the edition is on the colophon.The condition of this lithograph is excellent. It still bears the original protective tissue paper, which is easily removable without damaging it in order to be framed and hung to the wall.We do not crop images, and especially we do not crop artworks! Since the publication of this artwork, over 50 years ago, many things happened. And most of these lithographs have been damaged by time or, even worse, cropped in order to frame the image only; very often the protective tissue paper and/or the cover with watermark have been lost. We have been lucky enough to find this artwork in pristine condition and complete. The page cutting is jagged as it was when issued: this "beard" is the distinctive mark of handmade cotton paper. Thus, we want to preserve this artwork in this way, and show it clearly as it is: beautiful, precious, and complete.Please note that the photos may look a little bit wavy: this is due to the natural consistency of the paper, and the effect of the camera lens, which enhances the shadows and may cool the colour. The actual artwork is in pristine condition. The tissue paper, which is meant to protect the artwork, may be a little bit wavy: please see photos. These do not affect the artwork.The listing is therefore for the authentic 1973 lithograph as described, in excellent condition and with its protective tissue paper with the title, and includes the original folder.

Nach jahrelangen Studien zur Auswahl und optimalen Druckgestaltung der 50 Kunstwerke, die als repräsentativste des Bologneser Künstlers gelten, wurde sie 1973 in zwei Formaten veröffentlicht: einer Deluxe-Edition, aus der dieser Druck stammt, in 120 Exemplaren, nummeriert von 1 bis 120; und einer Standardausgabe in 1000 Exemplaren, nummeriert von 121 bis 1120.Das Kunstwerk ist im Fotolithografieverfahren auf sehr dickem, handgeschöpftem Baumwollpapier gedruckt, das speziell für diese Ausgabe von der Papierfabrik Miliani in Fabriano entworfen und hergestellt wurde. Jedes Werk ist in einem weiteren, etwas dünneren Umschlag aus handgeschöpftem Baumwollpapier aufbewahrt, der die Signatur des Künstlers „Morandi“ als Wasserzeichen trägt und speziell von der Papierfabrik Enrico Magnani in Pescia angefertigt wurde.Das Entstehungsdatum des Kunstwerks ist Oktober 1973, und die spezifische Nummer der Auflage ist im Kolophon angegeben.Der Zustand dieser Lithografie ist ausgezeichnet. Sie ist noch mit dem originalen Schutzpapier versehen, das sich leicht entfernen lässt, ohne das Bild zu beschädigen, um es rahmen und an die Wand hängen zu können.Wir beschneiden keine Bilder und schon gar keine Kunstwerke! Seit der Veröffentlichung dieses Kunstwerks vor über 50 Jahren ist viel geschehen. Und die meisten dieser Lithografien wurden durch den Zahn der Zeit beschädigt oder, schlimmer noch, beschnitten, um nur das Bild einzurahmen; sehr oft sind das Schutzpapier und/oder der Umschlag mit dem Wasserzeichen verloren gegangen. Wir hatten das Glück, dieses Kunstwerk in makellosem Zustand und vollständig zu finden. Der Seitenrand ist gezackt, so wie er bei der Herausgabe war: Dieser „Bart“ ist das charakteristische Merkmal von handgeschöpftem Baumwollpapier. Daher möchten wir dieses Kunstwerk in dieser Form bewahren und es so zeigen, wie es ist: schön, wertvoll und vollständig.Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Fotos etwas wellig wirken können: Dies liegt an der natürlichen Beschaffenheit des Papiers und dem Effekt des Kameraobjektivs, das die Schatten verstärkt und die Farben etwas kühler erscheinen lassen kann. Das eigentliche Kunstwerk befindet sich in makellosem Zustand. Das Seidenpapier, das zum Schutz des Kunstwerks dient, kann leicht wellig sein: siehe Fotos. Dies hat keinen Einfluss auf das Kunstwerk.Das Angebot umfasst daher die authentische Lithografie von 1973 wie beschrieben, in ausgezeichnetem Zustand und mit dem schützenden Seidenpapier mit Titel, einschließlich der Originalmappe.
