
A George II walnut corner chair 1745-1750 With a shaped and dished toprail, on three ring turned fluted columnar supports interspersed by two pierced and scroll carved baluster form splats, above a later stuffover seat, over a plain frieze, on four scrolled acanthus clasped cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet, probably originally with a drop-in seat, 72cm wide x 68cm deep x 78.5cm high, (28in wide x 26 1/2in deep x 30 1/2in high) Footnotes: The offered lot appears illustrated in R.
