A pair of Japanese Imari decorated porcelain garniture vases and covers Late Meiji period (1868-1912) or Taisho period (1912-1926) Each of inverted baluster form with narrow cylindrical necks, the domed covers with Buddhistic dog finials, the bodies and covers each decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze iron red enamels and gilt with various shaped panels depicting landscape scenes and foliage reserved on a bold floral ground with stylised flowers and waterlilies, all within foliate and scrolling borders, the finials in dark iron red, 36.5cm high overall (2) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
