A pair of late 19th century Ferdinand Barbedienne et Cie patinated bronze twin handled garniture vases In the Neo-Grec style The tapering cylindrical bodies cast with classical figures, mask heads and Bacchanalian trophies, beneath a bucraniae and floral garland border, the waisted shouldered necks with leaf head banded decoration, raised on draped male bust monopodia tripod supports, flanking anthemion and scalloped aprons, marked to the undersides of both F.BARBEDIENNE mounted on moulded concave triangular verde antico marble bases, 31.5cm high overall (2) Footnotes: Provenance Geoffrey Stead, February 1995 (£1,250) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
