Largely self-taught, his successful London studio was by the late 1970's producing an array of striking modern and baroque inspired furniture, mirrors, and decorative objects, often incorporating natural materials such as agate, horn and shell, sometimes mounted in silver. These were then retailed to a fashionable international clientele via his Pimlico and late his Sloane Street boutique galleries.
