A silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel egg makers mark 'AII', St.Petersburg, 1908-1917 enamelled with stylized flowers and foliage, opening to form a pair of egg cups, front with letters 'ХВ', 84 standard height: 13 cm (5 1/8 in). Footnotes: Provenance Acquired by the present owner from the Culloden Estate sale, near Belfast, the historic seat of the Bishops of Down and Connor, following its sale and conversion to a hotel in the 1960s.
