A Dutch engraved 'VOC' tumbler and four further interesting engraved tumblers, late 18th and early 19th century Of tapering shape, the first with a continuous scene depicting a two-masted ship flying a 'VOC' flag moored before a large warehouse, a hound behind; one with a three-masted paddle steamer, tied rose and thistle sprays to the reverse; a coaching tumbler with a stagecoach drawn by eight horses, the initials 'RC' to the reverse; one depicting a covered wagon drawn be eight horses in a continuous landscape with a windmill, inscribed 'SUCCESS TO MR COOPERS WAGGONS [sic]', facets to the lower part; the last depicting the cast iron bridge over the Wear in Sunderland flanked by hops and barley, inscribed 'SUNDERLAND BRIDGE', the initials 'GO' to the reverse, fine flutes to the base, 10.2cm to 12.7cm high (5) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
