Five good facet stem wine glasses and an ale glass, circa 1770-90 Three with hexagonal faceted stems, one perhaps a cordial glass, with a cup-shaped bowl engraved with an 'OXO' border, on an unusually tall stem with a central knop; one with a pan-topped bowl; and one with a cup-shaped bowl engraved with 'OXO' swags, over conical feet; the others on diamond faceted stems, one with a generous ovoid bowl cut with scale-like facets to the base, the stem with a central knop; one with a cup-shaped bowl engraved with an 'OXO' border and stars, on a short stem and heavy 'firing' foot; the ale with a tall ogee bowl engraved with an 'OXO' border, over a conical foot, 11.2 to 18.2cm high (6) Footnotes: Provenance Christie's, 10 January 2012, lot 388 (part) (glass with 'OXO' swags) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
