A creamware mug and a porter mug, circa 1805-25 The first with a neatly turned foot, printed in black with 'TRAFALGAR', a portrait of Admiral Lord Nelson crowned by Victory and flanked by flags, trophies and ships above a patriotic verse, with a black line rim, 12.4cm high, the porter mug unusually applied with crushed clay between two ochre bands, reserving an oval portrait of Nelson with military trophies and picked out in Pratt colours, 10.2cm high (2) Footnotes: Provenance Bonhams, Nelson and the Navy, 24 October 2024, lot 78.
