Description
1 Large 18th century engraved copper button with a rare backmark. Here is a nicely hand crafted copper from the 18th century with a Sheffield plate coating on the front of this patterned center. What makes this example rare is the backmarked initials most likely of the person who crafted the button. Backmarked 18th century examples like this are far and few between.
