New York, c. 1851, poplar. With a foliate carved lid mounted with a metal plaque reading "OSTEGO Co. NY 1851 Weights and Measures." Original red paint with great surface. 7" high, 15" wide, 8.25" deep. Provenance: an Ohio collection.
