Large World War II archive including; 1.) Large photograph album with front cover presenting design of palm trees and "ALOHA, HAWAII". Album contains 349 photographs measuring from 2.5" x 3.5" up to 3.25" x 4.75". Album also includes 1 photograph measuring 8" x 10" and 7 photographs measuring 5" x 7". Photographs include images of Hawaii scenic, pre-WWII military training, pre-WWII aircraft (including several of a China Clipper), Hawaiian Luals, and civilian population. 2.) Box measuring 11" x 6.5" x 7.5" containing +100 letters and +100 photographs (most 3.25" x 4.75") . Many letters written to Miss Ida Tardoni of Philadelphia with many written by friends that had joined the military during World War II. Most photographs show groups of men and women with many at the beach.
