Description: A red, white & blue painted carnival knockdown or punk. This one seems to picture Uncle Sam with a red, white & blue theme complete with red striped pants, Blue jacket and a bowtie. Hand painted over a heavy canvas featuring a smiling face tempting the player to hit them with a ball to win a prize. Double sided with a white painted background featuring a primitive hand painted figure on the reverse. These were used at carnivals & circuses around the country. One had to knock down the figures to get a prize. In good game used condition. Circa 1930s.
