Dimensions are at the bottom. A little history: Red Cliff Ironstone, produced by Hall China, which began production in 1903 and continues to this day. (In 2020, it was announced that the Hall China facility would be closed by February 2021 to reduce overhead in the now Fiesta Tableware Company, as the Hall China brand itself had been sold to Steelite International earlier in the year.[1] Hall China is still produced as a food service brand by Steelite, but no longer operates as an independent brand in retail.) The Red Cliff Co. was established in Chicago in 1950 and was owned and operated by Fred Clifford until around 1977. The firm was a china decorating and distributing company that produced decorated ironstone pieces patterned after traditional ironstone designs and shapes. To make sure the items maintain their luster, this ironstone should be washed by hand. It also has a place for votive candle to keep coffee or tea warm in the base.
