He works with a variety of mediums and has continually drawn inspiration from his personal experiences. His works can be seen as an allegory where he takes inspiration from the idea of a virtual reality headset and uses it as a metaphor to explore the concept of living in one’s head and getting lost in that space which makes it difficult to accept what’s real; which is one of the problems we face in the modern world and is partly the reason why young people resort to drug use which is barely talked about. Artist Statement My work is an exploration of the intricate landscape of the human mind, seeking to bridge the physical and the metaphysical realms. These geometric forms and vibrant colors are not merely abstract shapes but representations of our thoughts, emotions, and memories, intertwined across time and space. I build these geometric shapes into abstract structures that connect the past, present, and future, where logic and emotions, reality and dreams coexist and interact. The repeated inclusion of eye-like shapes, which make the paintings resemble faces, serves as a metaphor for self-awareness and introspection. By exploring these themes, I aim to connect the tangible and intangible aspects of human existence, urging us to consider how our perceptions shape our reality and how our inner landscapes reflect the broader universe.
