Title: Oil painting Near the village lake Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA4484The painting "Near the Village Lake" beautifully captures the rustic charm of a countryside scene, where nature and rural life harmoniously coexist. The artist employs thick, expressive brushstrokes and a vibrant yet earthy palette to create a textured composition that evokes both movement and tranquility. The foreground is dominated by a body of water, likely a small lake or pond, its reflective surface shimmering with cool blues and deep greens. The use of impasto technique allows the ripples of the water to come to life, reflecting the golden hues of the surrounding grass and vegetation. The middle ground features a gently sloping meadow, lush and untamed, with various shades of green and yellow blending together. The thick application of paint in this area creates a sense of depth and richness, emphasizing the wild beauty of the countryside. Among the grass, a small group of white geese wander freely, their bright feathers standing out against the darker tones of the earth. Their presence adds warmth and a sense of daily rural life to the painting, suggesting that this is a peaceful moment in an otherwise bustling farmstead. The eye is drawn toward the rustic houses in the background, painted in warm whites and earthy browns. Their sloping roofs, some adorned with hints of green and blue, indicate age and wear, yet they stand firm against the elements. The houses appear nestled against a dense tree line, where deep browns, reds, and dark greens merge to form a natural barrier, enclosing the village in its own secluded world. The trees, their branches reaching upward, are painted with a mixture of bold strokes and delicate highlights, adding contrast and movement to the composition. The sky above is a muted gray, possibly hinting at an overcast day or the transition from late afternoon to early evening. The subdued color choice for the sky enhances the vibrancy of the foreground and middle ground, drawing the viewer's focus toward the land and the life it supports. A single, bare tree trunk stands tall in the right portion of the canvas, its stark silhouette cutting through the softer elements of the scene. This tree, with its rough texture and lonely stance, adds a sense of resilience and natural beauty to the painting.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Near the village lake"* ARTISTS: Oksana Kalenyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/'5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: Photos provide accurate information about the product.About the artists: Kalenyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
