Title: Oil painting Village with the approach of spring Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA4492The painting "Village with the Approach of Spring" captures the delicate and dynamic transition between the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Executed in bold, expressive brushstrokes and a rich impasto technique, this oil painting on cardboard conveys both the raw beauty of nature and the quiet life of a countryside settlement. In the foreground, a network of trees, still bare from the passing winter, stands prominently. Their twisted, slender branches reach towards the sky, hinting at the anticipation of budding leaves. The trees are painted in a mixture of earthy browns, ochres, and hints of white, depicting the textured bark and remnants of snow or frost that still cling to their trunks. The thick application of paint adds depth and realism to these trees, making them appear tangible and rugged, as if they have weathered many seasons. Beyond the trees, the viewer's gaze is drawn into the village, where rustic houses with sloping roofs nestle among the rolling landscape. Their rooftops, rendered in soft greens and muted browns, blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment. The walls of the houses, touched by warm whites and subtle grays, suggest a sunlit glow, as if the returning warmth of spring is beginning to embrace the village. To the right, a vibrant burst of color in blues, reds, and oranges indicates human activity-a marketplace, laundry drying in the fresh air, or villagers engaging in daily routines. This splash of life, juxtaposed against the earthy surroundings, brings energy to the composition and reinforces the theme of seasonal renewal. The ground itself is a patchwork of warm, earthy tones mixed with streaks of fresh greens, portraying the gradual reawakening of the land. The textured brushstrokes suggest damp soil, melted snow, and the first blades of grass pushing through the softened earth. In some areas, the presence of purples and deep browns hints at shadows cast by trees or uneven terrain, adding complexity and depth to the scene. The sky is an expanse of cool turquoise, tinged with light pastels, giving the impression of crisp spring air and shifting weather. There is a sense of movement in the sky, as if a gentle breeze is stirring, carrying with it the promise of warmer days ahead.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Village with the approach of spring"* ARTISTS: Oksana Kalenyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/'5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, cardboard* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: Photos provide accurate information about the product.About the artists: Kalenyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
