Title: Oil painting There are sunflowers in the yard Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA4699The oil painting on cardboard titled "There are Sunflowers in the Yard" radiates warmth and nostalgia, immersing the viewer in a serene rural scene bursting with color and life. The artist masterfully captures the essence of a countryside home, where nature flourishes in harmony with human habitation, and sunflowers stand tall, basking in the golden light of the day. In the foreground, an array of sunflowers dominates the composition. Their vibrant yellow petals, tinged with shades of orange and red, contrast against the deep green leaves that twist and curl in various directions. Each flower head tilts slightly, as if following the sun's path, their dark, rich centers conveying a sense of depth and vitality. The thick, impasto brushstrokes add texture, making the flowers almost tangible, their forms sculpted by the movement of the paint. A rustic wooden fence partially encircles the sunflowers, its rough, weathered planks painted in earthy browns and soft ochres. The strokes of paint are bold and expressive, suggesting the natural imperfections of aged wood. The fence adds structure to the composition, subtly guiding the eye toward the background while reinforcing the intimate, homely feel of the scene. Beyond the sunflowers, a small, charming cottage with whitewashed walls and a thatched roof is nestled among lush greenery. The house exudes warmth and simplicity, its windows adorned with delicate blue-green frames that stand out against the pale facade. The textured roof, painted in rich ochres and warm browns, suggests the use of traditional materials, giving the home a timeless character. The artist's strokes are loose and expressive, allowing light and shadow to dance across the walls, giving the impression of a sunlit afternoon. Dotted around the cottage, trees and foliage create a sense of enclosure and tranquility. The trees are painted in a symphony of greens, with hints of red and orange peeking through, indicating the transition of seasons. Their branches intertwine, forming a natural canopy that filters the sunlight, casting dappled shadows onto the ground below. The use of thick, layered paint enhances the texture of the leaves, making them appear full and lush, alive with movement.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "There are sunflowers in the yard"* ARTISTS: Oksana Kalenyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/'5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, cardboard* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: Photos provide accurate information about the product.About the artists: Kalenyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
