Title: Oil painting The coast at sunset Oksana Ivanyuk Description: NoAAA5864The Oil painting Canvas titled "The coast at sunset" draws the viewer into a world where light, nature, and human solitude blend into a single harmonious vision. The artist employs thick, expressive strokes of oil paint, creating a tactile richness that adds both vibrancy and texture to the scene. Every layer of color feels alive, vibrating with movement and energy, evoking the fleeting yet eternal beauty of twilight hours by the water's edge. The composition unfolds around a small wooden pier, slightly rustic and weathered, stretching into calm waters that shimmer with hints of reflected sky. At the edge of the pier sits a solitary figure dressed in white, their hat tilted forward in quiet contemplation. Their stillness contrasts with the dynamic strokes of the landscape around them, offering a poignant reminder of how moments of human reflection exist within the vast rhythms of nature. This figure becomes the emotional anchor of the piece, inviting the viewer to step into their perspective and feel the serenity, nostalgia, and introspection of a sunset by the coast. The trees in the background dominate much of the canvas, painted with bold greens and golden highlights. Their branches seem to dance in the evening breeze, capturing both the vitality of life and the softness of fading light. The strokes are applied in thick layers, almost sculptural in form, giving the trees volume and depth. They do not merely stand as natural forms but seem infused with an inner glow, as if touched by the last warm rays of the sinking sun. These radiant trees envelop the viewer in a cocoon of color, both protective and embracing, while guiding the eye toward the horizon. On the right, the sky begins to shift from vibrant blues into soft pinks and violets, with streaks of peach and lavender reflecting the day's final breaths. A glowing orb of sun, captured in a round burst of yellow and orange, hangs low in the sky. Its fiery light radiates outward, softening into surrounding clouds that blend seamlessly into the tranquil tones of evening. The juxtaposition of warm, glowing hues against the deeper greens of the trees and blues of the water creates a dynamic tension, amplifying the drama of the sunset.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "The coast at sunset"* ARTISTS: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
