Title: Oil painting High noon heat Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA5230The oil painting on Canvas titled "High Noon Heat" captures the still, golden intensity of midday in a rural landscape, where the air seems to shimmer with warmth and the world slows under the weight of the sun. This evocative work invites the viewer into a moment suspended in heat and tranquility, where nature stands bathed in light, and human presence is barely more than a whisper. In the foreground, a solitary figure sits quietly in a wooden boat, their form relaxed and seemingly unmoved, as if even motion has given in to the sun's dominance. The figure is dressed in white with accents of red, and their posture, turned slightly toward the land, hints at a contemplative pause - a break from paddling or perhaps simply surrendering to the midday haze. The boat floats gently on a mirror-like river, which reflects both the leafy canopy above and the glowing hillside in fragmented patches of color. The reflections ripple subtly, giving the surface a quiet energy despite the overall calmness of the composition. The bank of the river is densely framed by lush green trees, painted with expressive, almost impressionistic strokes. Their foliage is rendered in thick dabs of jade, emerald, cobalt, and dashes of crimson, showing the depth of summer's growth. The heat is palpable in the way the trees seem to sag toward the water, drawing strength from its coolness. Their shadows are short and fall directly beneath them, a silent testimony to the height of the sun. Beyond the trees, a vast, sun-drenched hillside rises, painted in hues of warm ochre, burnt sienna, pale gold, and touches of soft orange and green. These layered strokes create a textured, almost patchwork quality that evokes dry grass, sun-bleached earth, and the natural undulation of rural terrain under intense daylight. The hillside dominates the upper half of the canvas, its color intensity in direct conversation with the muted coolness of the river below. Above, the sky is painted in delicate tones of pale turquoise, lavender, soft pink, and light ivory. Wispy clouds drift lazily, offering no shelter, only the illusion of movement in an otherwise still scene. The high-noon light flattens the shadows, yet the artist finds depth in color layering and in the contrast between the vibrant hill and the darker river edge. The result is not blinding brightness but a measured radiance - the kind of heat that is deeply felt, not sharply seen.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "High noon heat"* ARTISTS: Oksana Kalenyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artists: Kalenyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
