This pair of cube lounge chairs by Stendig follows the iconic design originated by Robert Hausmann for De Sede in 1954. The boxy, low-slung form is upholstered in lush deep crimson / burgundy mohair velvet and set on a chrome-plated steel flat bar frame, a combination that reads as equally at home in a bold residential interior as a refined commercial space. Optional seat cushions are included and can be used or removed depending on preference.

Each chair measures 35.25 inches wide by 31.25 inches deep by 24 inches tall, with a seat height of 14 inches without the cushion, a seat width of 25 inches, and a seat depth of 23 inches. Both chairs are in very good condition with general wear consistent with age and no rips, tears, or stains to the velvet.
