Description
Absolutely fantastic vintage c.1950's/60's wall clock by Howard Miller Clock Co.! It is in the form of a pill or tablet, with a great white monochromatic face and black hands. It was designed by either George Nelson or Arthur Umanoff (there is conflicting information online regarding this.)
It measures 12 7/8" in diameter and 2 1/2" deep.
The movement is original and takes a single C cell battery. Works well. The clips that hold the face and glass to the front of the clock housing are a bit loose but function fine when the clock is hung on the wall as intended. There is age appropriate wear to the white metal housing, with some minor scratches and scuffs, etc.. The glass has no chips or cracks and the clock face is in very good condition as well.
