White 5" x 6" paper cut signed on one side in blue ballpoint pen by Black Sabbath band member Tony Iommi, who also inscribed the message "Best wishes" before his signature. Back side signed in blue ballpoint pen by brief Black Sabbath band member and full-time Deep Purple band member Ian Gillian, who inscribed the message "Cheers" before his signature. In very good condition, with some scattered wear. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett (#BK12712). A fascinating snippet of Black Sabbath's long history, this cut signed by Tony and Gillian represent the two years between 1982-1984 in which Gillian joined the band. After his original band Deep Purple's disbandment, Ian joined Black Sabbath, whose members Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice left the same year. The only major work recorded with Ian was "Born Again" which was also the last Black Sabbath album featuring their longtime drummer Bill Ward.
