Victor Nikolaevich Shkurinsky was born on November 20, 1932 in the village of. Turchinka in Polesie in the family of a forester.
In 1949 he entered the painting and decorative department at the Kiev Art College of Applied Arts. Alexander Ivanovich Vovk became his teacher, mentor and friend.
In 1954, after being discharged from the army, he moved to Zhitomir and worked as a decorator in a drama theater.
From 1955 to 1980 he worked in the Zhytomyr Association of Artists.
Since 1961, Shkurinsky V.N. - A participant in regional, republican and all-Union art exhibitions.
In 1973 he graduated from the art and graphic department of the Odessa Pedagogical Institute.
In 1974 he opened and for a long time worked as the director of the Zhytomyr School of Art.
He worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. Master of landscape and still life.
Honored Artist of Ukraine.
The works of V.N.Shkurinsky are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
