About the artist: Born July 30, 1956 in the city of Sevastopol. Since 1974 to 1980 - Studying at the Crimean Art College. Samokish, a graduate of a talented teacher and painter, Honored Artist of Ukraine - Lev Vladimirovich Balkind. Member of the National Union of Artists since 1990.
Vladimir Nikolaevich is an artist with a wide range of professional opportunities: a painter, a master of monumental art, exquisitely working in graphics. He is attracted to many genres, but the main range of interests is focused on the lyrical and panoramic landscape.
Since 1980 the artist systematically participates in art exhibitions. Since 1985 to 2015 11 personal exhibitions were held in Crimea. In 1991 - personal exhibition in Russia. In 1995, 2005 He was a laureate for the Prize of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Since 1998 systematically participates in All-Ukrainian and international open air in the places: Sevastopol, Yalta, Simeiz, Gurzuf, Uzhgorod, Sednev, Koktebel, Chuguev, Bakhchisaray and others.
Pictures of Vladimir Olkhov are in the Sevastopol Art Museum. Kroshitsky Museum of Contemporary Art in Kiev, his work is also decorated with many galleries and private collections in Russia, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Holland, Turkey, Japan, Austria, America and other countries near and far abroad.
