About the artist: Soviet painter. People's Artist of Russia. Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the first degree (1951). Professor of the Department of Painting and Composition of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin, head of the personal workshop at the painting faculty of the LIZHSA them. I.E. He writes genre and historical compositions, landscapes, portraits.
