About the artist: Born in the village of Kosterevo (now a city), Petushinsky district, Vladimir region. Artist painter. Graduated from the Abramtsevo art-industrial school. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. As a painter he developed among the Vladimir landscape painters. Among his works - industrial and rural landscape: "Working days", "Industrial landscape" (both - 1969), "Construction of the Mausoleum" (1973), "House in Kosterevo" (1974), "Blue Summer" (1976), triptych "Haymaking" (1976), "Kosterevskaya Autumn" (1984), "Summer. Time for Haymaking" (1985). Landscapes, especially urban ones, are distinguished by their multicolor, decorative, expressiveness. Participant of art exhibitions since the late 1960s. He was buried in the town of Kosterevo.
