Sergei Nikolaevich Lysenko was born on September 15, 1921 in the town of Gorodishche, Cherkasy region.
Member of the Second World War. He was awarded two Orders of the Red Star, the Order of the Great Patriotic War and medals.
In 1952 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (workshop of battle-historical painting). Teachers - K. Trokhimenko, S. Grigoriev, G. Melikhov, V. Kostetsky, K. Eleva.
He worked in the field of easel painting.
Lysenko S.N. - participant of art exhibitions: since 1952 - republican, since 1958 - all-Union, since 1960 - foreign.
