.30" blade, 1.25" wide. Blade is etched with panels of military panoply, with eagle and E Pluribus Unum. Rich panels of blue and gilt. Silver flashed guard and backstrap. White bone handle. Silver plated brass metal scabbard, with two hanging chains. Original to the scabbard. Overall condition of this wonderful sword is outstanding. A great War of 1812 sword. Provenance: Ex.
