Vintage "We Are The World" Brooch, 1980's, Gold Tone. This brooch is in satiny finish for the world with shiny surface for the visible continents and for the children/people holding hands across the globe. If you remember this, it was a big deal. This does have a music mechanism however the battery is dead and would need to be replaced. The back of the mechanism is open where the compartment is to access the battery and there is one battery in there and a space next to it but not sure if that is space or another battery should be there, unknown but the brooch itself is in very good ocndition. It is not signed by the maker. (W4922.3 SS7093 AZ EB* LD 4/29/22).
