Title: Oil painting Bloom between love and farewell Oleksandr Gukalov Description: NoAAA5552The Oil painting on canvas titled "Bloom between love and farewell" is a deeply evocative work that brings forth the eternal symbolism of the rose while placing it in a vivid and dramatic visual dialogue between passion and transience. At the center of the composition blooms a red rose, painted with striking realism and emotional intensity, its petals unfurling with a raw sense of immediacy. The artist captures not only the beauty of the flower but also the vulnerability that lies in its very existence-a reminder that love and farewell are always intertwined, and that the act of blooming itself carries within it the inevitability of withering. The petals, rendered with thick, textured strokes of oil, are alive with tonal shifts ranging from deep crimson to fiery orange, interspersed with glimmers of luminous white. These variations of color create depth and dimension, emphasizing the velvety texture of each fold, while also suggesting the warmth and fragility of human emotions. The edges of the petals appear sharp in some places and soft in others, evoking the dual nature of love: tender and embracing, yet at times edged with pain. The bloom is monumental in scale, filling almost the entirety of the canvas, as if the rose itself is a universe of feeling-a metaphor for love at its most encompassing and overwhelming. The background is a rich, verdant green, painted in sweeping strokes that contrast powerfully with the intensity of the red rose. This choice of color sets the flower in sharp relief, allowing it to dominate the viewer's gaze, while also symbolizing life, growth, and renewal. Yet the density of the green is not simply a background; it resonates as the quiet presence of time and nature, standing as a silent witness to the drama of the rose. The juxtaposition of the rose against this field of green suggests the tension between passion and permanence, between the fleeting bloom of desire and the enduring cycles of life. There is a deliberate focus on detail in the center of the rose, where the tightly curled innermost petals draw the eye inward, pulling the viewer into the very heart of the flower. This focal point becomes a metaphor for intimacy, for the innermost secrets of love that are both hidden and revealed as relationships unfold.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Bloom between love and farewell"* ARTISTS: Oleksandr Gukalov* SIZE: 57.5x58 cm/22.63x22.83 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artists: Alexander GukalovAfter graduating from Lviv Polytechnic, he was engaged in scientific work.
