Two gracefully curved arms extend from a central circular boss, terminating in candle holders with faux candle sleeves. The arms and candle holders are also adorned with rococo-inspired casting. These sconces would have originally been electrified for gas or early incandescent bulbs, as indicated by the wiring and sockets. The style suggests an opulent interior design, popular during the Rococo Revival period. They are weighty and substantial in their construction, typical of quality brass castings of the era.
