A pair of Neoclassical style giltwood triple-arm candle sconces, likely Continental European from the early 20th century. Each sconce features an urn-form top with textured basketweave carving, surmounting a columnar body adorned with acanthus leaf scrolls, floral medallions, and vertical reeding. Three scrolling arms extend from the central column, each terminating in a bobeche and candle cup. The sconces are finished with a spherical finial at the base. The gilt finish shows some wear consistent with age, revealing a subtle red bole underlayer in places, which enhances their antique aesthetic.
