Description

A substantial gilt bronze and cut crystal chandelier. This elegant chandelier features a tiered design, festooned with numerous cut crystal teardrop and spherical beads, suspended from a gilt bronze frame. The central column is adorned with a figural gilt bronze mask, possibly depicting a satyr or Bacchus, adding a classical flourish. Six candle arms extend from the lower ring, each terminating in a bobeche and candle cup, designed to accommodate either wax candles or electric candle-style bulbs. The chandelier combines traditional opulence with functional lighting, suitable for a formal dining room or entryway.
