A set of eight French Provincial ladderback armchairs, late 19th or early 20th century, crafted from dark-stained wood with rush seats. Each chair features a shaped top rail over three wavy, carved ladderback slats, and turned stiles ending in carved finials. The armchairs exhibit classic Provincial styling with elegant curves and sturdy construction. The rush seats are tightly woven in a traditional pattern. These chairs would be suitable for a dining room or as accent chairs in a country-style interior. The wood shows some minor imperfections consistent with age and use, and the rush seats are in good condition with minimal wear.
